There are plenty of hostels available for students in Kota. ( कोटा में छात्रों के लिए बहुत सारे छात्रावास उपलब्ध हैं।)
I found following points to keep in mind while selecting hostel. ( मुझे हॉस्टल का चयन करते समय ध्यान में रखने के लिए निम्नलिखित बिंदु मिले।)
1) It should be close to coaching classes. All the coaching classes other than Allen medical, are in the same area. For them new Rajiv Gandhi Nagar, Rajiv Gandhi Nagar, Electronic complex are suitable. But for Allen medical you have to find in Kulhadi area. Read my blog for map showing location of hostels.( Click here) (यह कोचिंग क्लासेस के करीब होना चाहिए। एलन मेडिकल के अलावा सभी कोचिंग क्लासेस एक ही क्षेत्र में हैं। उनके लिए नए राजीव गांधी नगर, राजीव गांधी नगर, इलेक्ट्रॉनिक कॉम्प्लेक्स उपयुक्त हैं। लेकिन एलन मेडिकल के लिए आपको कुल्हड़ी क्षेत्र में ढूंढना होगा। हॉस्टल का स्थान दिखाने वाले मानचित्र के लिए मेरा ब्लॉग पढ़ें। (यहां क्लिक करें)
2) Always prefer first two floors of the building rather than top two floors. Because of hot weather conditions of Kota, top floor gets very heated. Also if it's raining heavily top floor terrace may leak. ( हमेशा शीर्ष दो मंजिलों के बजाय इमारत की पहली दो मंजिलों को प्राथमिकता दें। कोटा के गर्म मौसम की स्थिति के कारण, शीर्ष तल बहुत गर्म हो जाता है। इसके अलावा अगर भारी बारिश हो रही है तो ऊपरी मंजिल की छत लीक हो सकती है।)
3) Rental generally includes room rent, food, daily room cleaning, laundry (check). However every where electricity charges are as per metre units. This generally varies from ₹10/unit to 13/unit. In summer generallly students get min. 3,000/- electricity bill. ( किराए पर आम तौर पर कमरे का किराया, भोजन, दैनिक कमरे की सफाई, कपड़े धोने (चेक) शामिल हैं। हालांकि हर जगह जहां बिजली का शुल्क मीटर इकाइयों के अनुसार होता है। यह आमतौर पर 10 / यूनिट से 13 / यूनिट तक भिन्न होता है। गर्मियों में छात्रों को न्यूनतम 3,000 / - बिजली बिल मिलता है।)
4) Check food quality & taste, with your child. Always tell hostel owner if student is not happy with food taste than you will leave the hostel. If you have not agreed at the beginning then hostel owner will not give security deposit back if you leave early.
अपने बच्चे के साथ भोजन की गुणवत्ता और स्वाद की जाँच करें। हमेशा हॉस्टल मालिक को बताएं, अगर छात्र भोजन के स्वाद से खुश नहीं है तो आप हॉस्टल छोड़ देंगे। यदि आप शुरुआत में सहमत नहीं हुए हैं, तो हॉस्टल मालिक सुरक्षा जमा को वापस नहीं देगा यदि आप जल्दी छोड़ देते हैं।
5) Check if parents rooms are available. This is required when you visit to meet your child. Check it's rent which generally includes food. (जांचें कि क्या माता-पिता के कमरे उपलब्ध हैं। यह आवश्यक है जब आप अपने बच्चे से मिलने के लिए जाते हैं। यह किराए की जाँच करें जिसमें आम तौर पर भोजन शामिल है।)
6) Cheaper hostel rooms are always full. Students leave these rooms only in April end or may mid, when their IIT Advance or NEET exams complete. So if your child's classes start from January or April, then you have to find temporary rooms. They are impossible to find in Kota. Ask hostel owner to find for you or don't take that hostel. ( I will share my experience in future blog). (सस्ते हॉस्टल के कमरे हमेशा भरे रहते हैं। छात्र इन कमरों को केवल अप्रैल के अंत में या मई के मध्य में छोड़ सकते हैं, जब उनका आईआईटी एडवांस या एनईईटी परीक्षा पूरा हो जाता है। इसलिए यदि आपके बच्चे की कक्षाएं जनवरी या अप्रैल से शुरू होती हैं, तो आपको अस्थायी कमरे तलाशने होंगे। उन्हें कोटा में खोजना असंभव है। हॉस्टल के मालिक से आप के लिए खोजने के लिए कहें, या उस हॉस्टल को न लें। (मैं भविष्य के ब्लॉग में अपना अनुभव साझा करूंगा)
7) Always check if hostel is open in Diwali. I will share my experience in future blog about importance of Diwali vacation in 11th & 12th standard. (हमेशा जांच लें कि क्या दीवाली में छात्रावास खुला है। मैं 11 वीं और 12 वीं कक्षा में दीवाली की छुट्टी के महत्व के बारे में भविष्य के ब्लॉग में अपना अनुभव साझा करूंगा।)
8) Before finalizing hostel get mobile number of few students & their parents number if possible. They will give you exact situation in the hostel. (हॉस्टल को अंतिम रूप देने से पहले यदि संभव हो तो कुछ छात्रों और उनके माता-पिता के मोबाइल नंबर प्राप्त करें वे आपको छात्रावास में सटीक स्थिति देंगे।)
9) I believe that parents must train their child to study in library. I will share my experience in future blog. So if hostel rooms are not perfect then don't worry. Let your child enroll in library. This way hostel room is only used for sleeping & relaxing.
( मेरा मानना है कि माता-पिता को अपने बच्चे को पुस्तकालय में पढ़ने के लिए प्रशिक्षित करना चाहिए। मैं अपना अनुभव भविष्य के ब्लॉग में साझा करूँगा। इसलिए यदि छात्रावास के कमरे सही नहीं हैं, तो चिंता न करें। अपने बच्चे को लाइब्रेरी में दाखिला लेने दें। इस तरह से छात्रावास के कमरे का उपयोग केवल सोने और आराम के लिए किया जाएगा।)
